New Season of Project Runway

I think the mass-production versions are adorable!

Agree, and as a mom I would have bought a navy dress before a white one.

We’re down to the final 4…

I don’t understand why Dymitri was the winner? While it looked well made, it didn’t read ‘avant garde’ to me. Perhaps the dark colors were better in person.

While I loved Sanja, I think her lack of sketching finally caught up to her. She became another one of the drapey designers who had a nice aesthetic, but it wasn’t fresh.

Based on overall performance, I am happy with the final 4.

I agreed with Heidi last night. I kind of liked that mermaid dress. Fabio’s was the worst in my opionion. That looked “drapey” to me. Was Dimitry’s dress the one that was trimmed in navy? I thought that was an interesting touch.

I agree completely! It was a beautiful outfit, well-tailored and well-made - but avant garde? Really?

I do think that the remaining disgners are very talented. I’m looking forward to their runway shows!

I actually thought that Fabio’s was the most “avant garde” and that was the challenge, but I didn’t really see any of them really go wild. This is a far more subdued gang. I did think they all did a great job, but I also felt Sanja’s was the weak link. I wondered why she didn’t speak up to Tim about her fabric not making it to the workroom.

Also noticed…no challenge where they brought back eliminated designers.

I’m happy with the top 4. I have a feeling Melissa may win.

That has happened a few times this season (and probably in earlier seasons, as well) so there must be some kind of rule that you can’t go back for forgotten items. Doesn’t seem fair if it was the fault of the cashier at Mood but I guess each designer has to be responsible for his or her own purchases and make sure that they get put into the bag. It’s really a shame, though. I hated to see Sanjia go - she was my favorite.

Very predictable ending last night, don’t you think? I did enjoy seeing their families/significant others. It was kind of sad that two of them had to “borrow” places to work. How does Melissa pay for her beautiful apartment?

As far as the clothing, Christopher’s line didn’t show well because he waited too long to decide on the pieces, and then couldn’t alter them. That grey gown will be stunning on the runway next week. Other than the overuse of see-through blouses, I liked Dymitri’s line. He’s the most consistant and I’d expect him to win. For once, I liked what Melissa had to show last night. I thought her three choices were much better than expected. Fabio’s work just doesn’t appeal to me. The jackets all seem to gape. Maybe that was another one that could be worn “upside down”, and he forgot to point it out. And how about the clunky brown shoes that were almost worn with the pastel outfits? Good thing he toned them down.

I just caught up. Honestly, I am completely underwhelmed.

Maybe there’s some “wow factor” coming, but as of these pieces, yawn. :(

I was kind of upset they didn’t eliminate anyone - makes the final decision that much harder! I wonder if they thought Christopher was the weaker link that episode but didn’t feel like they could eliminate him since he was clearly the leader in wins up until then.

I will be shocked if Fabiola wins, though he seems like a sweet guy. I like Melissa but don’t feel she is that talented. I will be satisfied with a Christopher or Dimitri won - must admit Dimitri is my favorite - and probably has the experience and maturity to move forward now.

So glad Dmitry won. He has been the most consistent and polished all season.

Dmitry deserved the win, but I think Christopher has a lot of potential. Even though I liked Christopher’s grey gown, Michael Kors was right when he said it really didn’t fit with the rest of the line.

Yes, Dmitry won! I don’t understand the judges’ fascination with Fabio’s line. They were all accented with these weird, pastel, tie-dye looking fabrics. I would want to wear that? No, thank you please.

I’m ok with Dimitri winning. I think Melissa’s collection was quite striking and I think her “blood orange” dress was a knockout! Christoper lost it at the end. He’d been so collected throughout and then just seemed to fall apart. I didn’t actually “understand” Fabio’s collection. I tried, but just didn’t get it. I thought Dimitri’s was “ok” but I personally wasn’t wowed. Nothing there took my breath away like Melissa’s “blood orange” dress.

Next up…PR All Stars!

Yes, here’s the line up for the All-Stars starting this Thursday!

[Project Runway All Stars Designers - myLifetime.com](http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/project-runway-all-stars/season-2/designers)

Wow, cool that all-stars starts so soon!
I was thrilled with Dimitri’s win. I think they all wanted it badly. I think Christopher got wore out and just couldn’t produce and connect and complete at the end. I know he was disappointed. He should be in an all-stars someday. Fabiola was so cute- he seems like a sweetie. For a moment there I thought he might win! Which would have been a total shock and undeserved IMO . The fact that he had such different colors helped him to stand out in the finale.

Dimitri is very talented and I think he seems ready maturity wise to jump in the world of fashion- I am sure it can be very, very brutal.
