New Trick to Check Decision Online?!

<p>Okay, I know USC took down the Caravan website. But I just (by accident) tried a different USC Event RSVP site, and it seems to work! I can see my Trustee candidacy message:</p>

<p>And then it goes on to describe the Scholarship Explore events in February.</p>

<p>To use this method, do the following:
1.) Go to: <a href=“https://esdweb.esd.usc.edu/resrsvp/[/url]”>https://esdweb.esd.usc.edu/resrsvp/&lt;/a&gt;
2.) Log in with your USC ID and last name
3.) Click “Next” on the “Register” page
4.) Click “Reserve” on the first event - “Explore USC”</p>

<p>If you have been selected as a candidate for a merit scholarship, you will see a message there. Good luck! I hope this method works for more than three hours! :D</p>

<p>am i not being considered for a scholarship? my acceptance came in the mail yesterday, jan 28th. i thought i would be since i was like the 7th person on this forum to get their acceptance letter :(</p>

okay, not to be arrogant, but i thought i would probably RECEIVE the trustee scholarship. and now i’m not even being considered for ANY scholarship?!?!
if i can’t get the trustee scholarship then USC is off my list for sure…</p>

<p>^Don’t take it personally - no one knows the exact criteria of their selection process.</p>

<p>Also, I’m gonna wait for official documentation (or a lack thereof…) rather than check these tricks in the bowels of USC’s website. :)</p>

<p>Each Trustee Scholar Explore USC session begins at 10:00 a.m. on day 1 and ends around 1:00 p.m. on day 2. To view a tentative schedule, please click here. As part of the program, you will be hosted overnight by a current student and spend the night in university housing.</p>

<p>@KevRus - that’s a good point. I’m definitely not taking this 100% seriously until I get a letter in the mail. But I hope it’s true :)</p>

<p>Especially because I got an admissions letter even without the infamous “We have acted upon” status update. So I’m trying my best to restrain myself from looking. But it’s tough. haha</p>

<p>god, this is making me so nervous. if i can’t even get ANY scholarship interview from USC, then i definitely can’t get into HYPSM + Wharton…</p>

<p>same with me. I also realized that I have about 15 different USC IDs (that’s an exaggeration, it’s really more like 3-5). And I tried all of them. Funnnnnn stuff.</p>

<p>I received my acceptance package (I’m out of town so I haven’t had time to see it first hand yet) but still have received no scholarship letter. I am floored! I love USC but with the cost I thought it would be impossible. I never thought I would even be considered for a scholarship! I realize it’s not a done deal yet but I am quite excited to even be considered.</p>
