Friday Night Lights is being re-run in its entirety on ABC Family at 6:00PM M-F. Love the show but started watching it around season 3. It started last Tuesday- so just the first 4 episodes were shown. I’m just using my DVR and trying to find the time to keep up with it as it is on 5 nights a week.
speaking of ABC Family- is Greek coming back? Hate to admit it- but I kinda liked that show too.

Well, I really liked “Mercy”. Unfortunately the network did not. Also unfortunately, it didn’t even have an ending…just left all the story lines hanging.

Castle - nice mysteries and romantic tension between Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.

Amazing Race
Big Bang Theory
American Idol (after the first few episodes)

Mad Men
Rubicon (I am trying to hang in there–it’s obscure)

I can’t wait for:
Boardwalk Empire
the next season of Breaking Bad

In my Netflix queue:
Prime Suspect
Dexter
The Good Wife

What happened to Southland?

Brilliant, brilliant show, every season. Helen Mirren is a treasure.

hey, geezermom - I think Southland is toast. Too bad - I loved that program!

Or maybe I spoke too soon about Southland! According to Wikipedia: “On April 26, 2010, TNT announced it had picked up Southland for a ten-episode third season to begin airing in January 2011”

Yay!

I totally forgot Castle. One of my favorites!

For comedy I do:
30 Rock
How I Met Your Mother
Good Guys (comedy disguised as cop show)

Reality:
Top Chef
Top Chef Desserts (starting next week)
The Soup

Dramedy:
Parenthood
Weeds
The Big C

Drama:
The Good Wife
NCIS
Sons of Anarchy
Dexter
Empire Boardwalk
Supernatural

For summer fun (get on DVD):
Eureka
Burn Notice
Covert Affairs
Closer
Haven
Warehouse 13

LOVE Covert Affairs. Excited for the season finale tomorrow and I hope USA picks it back up!

The only other show I watch regularly is GLEE. Everything else is pretty much Food Network and reruns of CSI/CSI: NY/whatever they’re playing on Spike. And all the gooey shows on TLC (though I’m NOT a fan of SYTTD: Atlanta…bring back NY!)

Thanks, Scout59! We had Southland withdrawal when the first season ended.

Definitely Castle–the writing is so clever. It reminds me of Moonlighting.

OOh forgot about Mad Men. I have trouble remembering that one, but try to catch it. I need one of those Tivo things or recorder deals.

I can’t believe that on three pages of posts nobody mentioned “Modern Family”…

and ditto:

Big Bang Theory
Glee
Fringe

Someone mentioned Modern Family. LOVE that show, along with In the Middle. The kids are great.

OP, aside from what you’ve already mentioned (love Amazing Race) I’d go with 30 Rock or The Office, though it’ll be interesting to see how it is w/out Carrell, in the 30-minute comedy category and either Castle (serious crush on that man), Parenthood or Brothers and Sisters in the hourlong dramedy category.

Mad Men (edgy, sexy drama) or Modern Family (hilarious)

Bones
Burn Notice
Glee

I mentioned Modern Family. Another new show that I’m looking forward to for Season 2 is Treme.

^^sorry; missed that…there was a story on NBC last week about Treme; very interesting about the background of that area of NOLA…
