Shows two buttons: Departure/Arrival and Register for Summer.
Then text as following:
Please select the appropriate application from above.
- For Fall, Spring, and January Term applications - select Academic Year Application.
- For Summer registration - select Summer Housing Registration.
When clicking the buttons:
Departure/Arrival: says âThere are no forms open for you to provide information at this time.â
Register for Summer: some forms to fill, first page is " Summer Session 2025 Housing License" asking NetID.
Can do this at least on March 17.

Summer housing at NYU is open to anyone who wants it. Being able to access summer housing is not a sign of anything regarding admissions.

Something weird happened to my NYU portal.
My email used to be my school email, but now itâs my personal gmail account. The email notifying about my decision came through my personal email. Iâm so confused. How did this happen??
Also my portal now says âFor more information about admissions decision release, please check your email for a message with the following subject line: âPreparation for NYU Admissions Decision Release.ââ
where do you see the role? I found it yesterday and now canât locate it
I logged into this, and I have an ânyu.eduâ email available on the same page. Does everyone get an email ?

Bet if you actually try to make that fall deposit it wonât let you complete the process. You first have to be admitted AND accept the offer of admission to make a housing deposit as a student.

Yep, this comes up year after year on these threads. At least since 2018 when I started watching them. Itâs not an indicator.
