That’s a large gap, you should talk with your parents. For some people taking $60K in loans (if that’s even an option for you) would be reason enough to deem the school unaffordable. Further, in order to get your student visa, you will have to show that you have the funds to pay for four years of undergrad in the US.
It’s possible to go into IB from UIUC Gies, but it is not a target school. I am not sure if typical IB entry level analyst jobs (and the related internships) will consider international students, can you help @Catcherinthetoast?
Generally, an international student will be expected to go back to their home country after graduating college.
