My guess is Stern’s decisions have been released already, and the people who’ve gotten in are having their housing applications show up as “no app”. The other colleges might still be updating their admissions right now, best to just wait a few more days and see.

CAS, summer 2024
I remember from previous threads that the housing thing is not a thing until buttons on the portal and/or checklists disappear. None of that has happened yet to me.
Global studies summer housing appears
3.9, 1550, 2 internships, 2 published papers, a couple organizations I founded and some tutoring. essays were nice idk about LORs
damn, basically my exact applicaiton. i applied to cas though and it’s showing as summer 2024 for me.
I haven’t seen anyone CAS as no application yet, so maybe there is hope yet? Although mine was no applications until today it turned to summer 2024 and I am CAS. Hope that means something and no changes to portal yet.

31 ACT (submitted and kinda regret) and 3.77 UW GPA, leader of a couple of clubs, varsity soccer all 4 years, captain, work 2 jobs and have award for PSATs and 2 excellent letters for sure - 2 internships for medical/dental. Lots of community service and volunteering. 2nd degree black belt taekwondo. I would say average excellent.

could somebody tell me what these “buttons” on the portal mean? like where do they appear and if they do appear what do they signify? could somebody elaborate thanks

If you look at previous years it appears that if the buttons that say stuff about changing personal information and application information and the withdraw button disappear, then a decision has been made and that is the time to check housing portal and that is when this is more indicative but, of course, this is all speculative just like the housing applications stuff.
this only happened last year, previous year all buttons were there and housing portal was accurate.
