Stern Ed1. Withdraw button is gone. I have not checked housing and my guess is that if NYU knew this was a pre-indicator last year, there is a good chance it was fixed.

I think the withdraw button was also a known indicator last year based off of what I read on last year’s forum. Could it just mean that they’ve finished reviewing your application, not necessarily if they’ve accepted/rejected you?
The email from a few days ago said that 12/8 was the last day to make a change to your application. I think the withdraw button is just a sign that your application is now locked in.

same I applied to tandon and mine has been no applications up until yesterday it showed summer 2024… not sure what it means but i’m scared lol

I didn’t get a idoc request from nyu asking to verify documents? Does that mean I got rejected?
I am worried about the same thing- especially keeping in mind this year the financial aid form isn’t coming until December… not receiving any additional information request forms for a student who needs aid is concerning. I haven’t received one either and am ■■■■■■■■ my pants. best of luck to me and everyone tho!
I have been on a few reddit threads and some were saying that if you say “no housing”, that is an early sign of acceptance- but if you are seeing summer… then that wouldn’t be such a good sign. I have summer on my application too. But honestly there is no point worrying about it right now. Worrying isn’t going to fix or change anything, it will only make you more stressed as decisions have already been made. If we get rejected, who cares atp. Life was fine before NYU and it will be fine without it. We barely reached our 20s, there is so much more to life than college decisions and whatnot.

I would assume so because as there is no FAFSA, they cannot send out a financial aid package without verifying the documents…
Adding here that same speculative NYU portal tea leaves were shared in 2022, and my daughter had the “not admitted” version of whatever that whole housing/button thing was, and she got accepted. Later, it appeared our year that there was NOT a correlation with any of the version of tea leaves being presented. So it wasn’t that the leaves were just read wrong, but they didn’t indicate anything at all our year.
