Yes, for NYU specifically, if you are accepted to ur second choice campus, you are freed from ed agreement
How important do u think the optional essay is? Cause mine sucked but my personal statement was pretty good
I think it is imp, but again depends on how imp nyu considers essays
nyu released their ed 1 decisions a day early, is it possible for ed2 ?

By the virtue of curiosity and not being able to do non-nyu stuff, I have created a google form, because apparently, portal changes DO mean something (we donât know what), so letâs at least see the percentage of ppl that got different changes

Hereâs my guess: those without upload materials are either rejection or acceptance. Those with upload materials are either defer or waitlist. Maybe itâs accepted/waitlist/defer = upload box still available, and those who were rejected donât have that. At the end of the day, none of us know so letâs just hope for the best and pray we get in on Friday.
I think the upload material box is just if you didnât submit your mid year report. I donât think it has anything to do with decision. Mine disappeared right after my mid year report was received like 2 weeks ago

I canât see a mid year on my portal, so most probably my counsellor hasty uploaded it, but I still have upload docs
