I’m turning a junior this year and our school just gave us our next year schedule, but I have a MAJOR problem right now. Our school decided to put both AP Psychology and Mandarin II in the same period, and I kind of need to take both this year! Our school is a really small international school, so we don’t have a lot of classes, and there is only other Mandarin II class which is in 2nd period, but I’ve already got my mind set on AP Chemistry… But this is the last year our school is going to have AP Psychology because the teacher is moving two years and there is no one to replace her… Any advice on whether to take AP Psych or Mandarin II?
Also, I know some colleges require 3 years of foreign language, but our school only has Mandarin I, Mandarin II, and AP Mandarin. To fulfill those course requirements, do I have to take AP Mandarin? But to take AP Mandarin, then I have to take Mandarin II next year… Argh!
Please help me! And thank you for any advice!

If you are concerned with the class scheduling speak with your counselor you may not be the only student with this scheduling difficulty and for ease on the faculty they may switch periods around.
