But as Washington fans, this is a disappointment. I mean, we’ve done so much better this year than we expected to, and it’s a lot to grow from. But I would’ve rather lost to Detroit last week - they have been a great story and it would’ve been great to see them in the Super Bowl.
And we are so so so tired of Eagles fans (aside from folks here, who have been perfectly lovely… we just know too many IRL who are not so kind).

We had high hopes for Detroit as well, they are a great team. I don’t want the Chiefs to win (tired tired tired of them, but love Andy Reid) but otoh, really don’t want to play the Bills.
Eagles did a good job with discipline. The turnovers cost Washington the game, because the Birds are not a good 4th quarter team.
I’m a NYer by birth so I struggled with both teams in the early game but my H was born in Philly and is on cloud nine (and I was rooting for the Eagles too). They’ll be our team in the Super Bowl regardless of the Bills/Chiefs outcome.
Well I know many, many Eagles fans and they are all awesome. We’re just passionate! GO BIRDS, SUPER BOWL BOUND woo hoo!! 
I will root for Philadelphia if Buffalo doesn’t win this game against KansasCity. . I’m from Pittsburgh originally but have enjoyed my visits to Philadelphia.
My terrible towel definitely didn’t help the Steelers this year!

I was hoping it would be Washington–Buffalo, so exact opposite of what happened.

This makes rooting in the Super Bowl an easy decision, at least.
I realize I’m in the minority but I love watching the Chiefs and I don’t begrudge them their success.
