NJIT 2024 Honors class

@tt76huy - first 3 years was covered, just had to pay a little extra for this year as there was extra ‘amenity’ for the accomodation (which can be availed by a limited number of students). Also i hear that Honors has gotten more competitive that is why the financial package maybe lower as they try to accept more students to the program (but i’m not 100% sure about this).

@tff4ebwtrtw , Can i ask where did your kid do her internships? Is it internship or co-op? And does the college help find these co-ops? or students have to do their own search?

@tff4ebwtrtw, Also are these paid internships or unpaid?

@moms2024
1st - Server / Hardware startup - summer internship, central Jersey
2nd - one of the FAANGs - summer internship
3rd - coop with a big medical center IT in north Jersey (currently fighting covid)
3rd - one of the FAANGs - summer internship
set to work with the same FAANG after graduation this May (praying that nothing changes due to current covid)
All the above were paid with market rates. My kid applied to them direct. It helps if the student is a self-starter.

Not sure if you know but NJIT has a program where FB engineers teach some courses in school.
