No one in my high school shares my interests

I go to a school that is geared for math and sciences…i do a lot of creative writing, mostly poetry. the few kids in my school who do write all write really BAD (sorry, i know this is subjective…i know this because i work for the school’s litmag) ‘poetry’…and i feel like there’s no one to talk to about my writing…

also, i am into philosophy but barely anyone in my school knows any philosophy.

i am distancing myself from high school as a result. i don’t care about senior activities, senior days, senior photos, senior pranks etc. etc…I just want to go to college already where I can find people with my interests…

I would suggest that you take classes at your local community college that are relevant to your interests. However, just realize that you solely have one more year. You’ll get through it, no worries:)

Welcome, my friend.

I know what you mean…I go to a public high school and no one likes anything. :)

Transfer…

:( me too… just hang in there code h, we have only 1 more year …

that’s what the internet is for

One more year man. Just make sure you pick a college that will have people with similar interests.

lol archi92…I seriously cannot wait…I want to find people who are also passionate about creative writing…I am SICK of reading crappy elementary love/emo poems during my school’s litmag meetings…ugh.

senior year whatever (screw school spirit), I’m out in 1 year!!!

ops. 10 char…
