Has anyone else been shopping this?! I just discovered it this year and found way too many things I wanted!

Will be shopping there with my D today that works at Nordstrom during school breaks. Got to get my double points!

I used the triple points yesterday! I cannot wait for my stuff to come in the mail!!

I check what is on sale and guesstimate what would not last until the 60% off discount later in the season, and I target those items.
Wardrobe staples in classic shapes and colors, cute bags, functional boots in popular sizes…
The rest can be had at a better discount later. Good luck!

I love all of the Fyre bags and boots… But I just can’t justify spending all that money!:(

Hubby waits until then to buy suits. He just bought 2.

Do you shop 6pm? They usually have a good selection of Frye stuff.

I’ve never heard of it before… Thanks! I’ll have to check it out

6pm is the clearance site of Zappos. Tons of good stuff, so be careful! ;)

Bunsen does it the same way I do. There are some brands/items of clothing & accessories that they will sell out of during the sale & they won’t restock. Some of those things don’t get discounted later, or they are, but in only the few, small sizes remaining.
For example, Longchamps totes in current colors are rarely found at anything but full price. I bought the AGL booties last year and wore them all winter. They weren’t marked down in their usual end-of-season boot sale.

Stocked up on Zella leggings and capris. Found a few cute shirts and a pair of Kut dark gray jeans. Bought sweaters and BP leggings sweat pants for both D’s and a couple House of Harlow necklaces. Putting this all away for Christmas. Volupspa candles were $25 and $33 for three packs of the large ones. Will use some for gifts. Also used my triple points. I didn’t buy boots as I got 2 new pairs of boots their end of season sale.

Great shopping, showmom. I have not made it to the store yet… Will do this later today - the plan is to park Mr B at the newly constructed lounge in the middle of the store while I shop. ;)

I think by the time I get to Nordstrom all the stuff will be 60% off.

It so cracked me up the first time I saw the bar (NOT a piano bar, mind you
) in place of the piano player but it always seems to be packed!

LOL, saintfan! That bar is a brilliant move, IMO. A nice place to sit, sip a drink, surf the web using the complementary wifi, and watch the shopping ladies…
Surely beats sitting on the sofa in the middle of the mall.

The stuff that I wanted, of course, was not included in the sale. I think I know what would get discounted soon! I did get a jacket and a nice white Boss blouse from the 60% off racks. The young SA was a college student, and I possibly made her day with my purchases, because it looked like she was being put in charge of tasks that do not ring up any commissions (returns, answering questions, restocking the racks…).

Last year I noticed a some items I had purchased were marked down a few months later. I called customer service and they kindly credited my account with the difference. The tags were still attached! I saved about $170.

You guys are making me very homesick…

Too busy to go till this coming Friday
gong to call and make appt in petites and will use triple points day. I do almost all my shopping for the year at this sale. Interested in what good buys others find. I plan to try some Fryes, hope they fit me.

D ordered Anniversary Sale boots online during the advance sale. Today we hit the store. Call me underwhelmed. We made one additional purchase for $50. There was a time (10-20 years ago) when I would spend $500 to $800 there in an afternoon.

Mom22039 - underwhelmed is the right description! I wanted to blow $500… Nothing jumped at me either online or in the stores. A pair of Lafayette slack is what I got. And a few items from the 60% off rack…
