Hello, Did anybody got application status email?
For those still waiting until Jan 30, did your withdraw button disappear? I don’t recall if it was there always or not but don’t see it today.
I also do not see it.
We also do not have a withdrawal button but cannot remember if it was there before. This did happen before and then it reappeared when the decisions came through
Not likely. UNC announced this summer how they were going to notify instate in December.
No auto admit for honors and it’s definitely not just the top scores. Mine got in with a 4.5/3.9 and 33 ACT and a friend with a 36 ACT and higher GPA didn’t. The essay section was long and involved. Only 500 are accepted each year.
My son is in Honors. FWIW he is planning to drop it and it has a very high drop out rate, especially for Engineering majors. The classes and seminar have been very disappointing and uninteresting to him. For instance they like to brag about how they have a Taylor Swift class though I have no clue what that has to do with Honors. Lots of emphasis on social justice themes as well and some of the speakers are activists that get very political and very one sided. It was very disappointing.

Mine ended up at UNC and is in honors. She’s very happy with the program there and doesn’t mind the courses at all.
That’s great, I am sure it can be excellent for some. Not as familiar with UNC’s program either. NC State’s program just hasn’t been a good match for my son but he loves the school and is very happy overall!

Whens the confirmed date for international applicants ea?
Daughter is IS and was accepted EA in December. Applied for Honors, so curios to know if anyone has heard anything about timing of IS Honors decisions?
It says on their portal that decisions will come in February. I’m guessing that they are waiting until after the entire EA round is complete, but that’s just conjecture.

Yes, that is correct. Two years ago it came a few weeks after acceptance. No money with honors offer (as an FYI).
Withdrawal is back does that maybe mean decision today?!!!
Usually on Friday at 5 pm.
Not back for us.
I had another child go through this several years ago and I can’t remember if it was a good or a bad sign ?!!! But at least we will know by the end of the day
release date is no longer mentioned.
