What will happen is that you will be deferred and if you send a strong LOCI you will be let in.
arj0, if you have a common last name, it’s not uncommon that your Unity ID has already been assigned to a previous student and therefore you will not be able to anticipate your ID. So … sit tight for 40-something hours.
My daughter was able to do this login trick only in the last couple of hours before decisions if not minutes - cannot remember - but was just last year. She was accepted after being deferred so was not able to do it the first time around for EA decisions. Many kids will be deferred. She is a top student, many APs great ACT and was deferred but is now a student elsewhere.

I don’t think all have been loaded in yet. No one I know in state has the button disappearing and they are all top 2-8% of their class with all the everything.
NC State hasn’t been known to do a ton of yield protection from what I’ve heard.
For sure has not been loaded yet. More people are for sure getting in. Trying tomorrow evening might be a better time since they probably will have them all set up by then.
The sign in thing didn’t work for us, but then again, we still have the withdraw option, so I am guessing a deferral is coming. Also, our last name is not unusual.
