We had that issue but are able to get in today. It seems like a nightly process ran to complete the account creation. Try again today.

Are people who were deferred issued Unity IDās/able to use the hack?
MyPack working this morning for a name with LESS THAN 6 letters. Was able to change password and can see acceptance in AED.

What did you use for login with only 5 letters
Just used the last name and nothing to fill the empty spot. So if your last name was Smith, just use smith (with first letter of first name and middle name)
ok, i am still getting invalid unity ID when i put in first initial + last name initial + 5 letter last name.
update: even though i wasnāt able to get into the portal last night, i tried again this morning- i got into my second choice major! to everyone worrying about it like i was, do not lose hope.

very frustrating! Do they assign a unity ID to everyone regardless of admit vs defer?
I would guess that only fully admitted students would get them first which would make sense because when you get in the portal it has several tabs to action items . Payments / housing etc
Did you try just skipping and going right to the reset password piece ? Thatās what we did

The portal trick doesnāt work for us, but I googled what the ID would be along with āncsu.eduā and found someone that is already using that. So the ID would have to be different. Sigh.
Ugh ā¦ that was good super sleuth work though 
I had to use the hack. Still waiting on official letter, but I am near 100% confidnet that I am in based on what I saw in the hack
I know you wrote previously you applied to at least 60 schools. Curious as to your top choices since you have been admitted to so many?
My top choices are UF, UT Austin, and Chapel Hill. The reason I applied to so many is because iām chasing merit offers, so if I get a full ride or something close to it somewhere else, that would definently be a top contendor for me.

Interesting hack but I admit at this stage Iām just going to wait out of concern for mucking something up in the system while I know they are uploading, updated and doing system maintenance stuff for release later today. DD has acceptances at 8 schools, all of them good and sheās excited about soā¦ UNCCH and NCSU and Wisc are at this point gravy. Even as a UNC and Wake alum I wonāt lie Iād be delighted if she got into NCSU as itās her top choice of the remaining 3 andā¦ in state tuition.

@Ae1231, youāre legendary in my school. 60 schools is crazy!! You prolly have like $1 mil in scholarship dollars already sitting for you to accept.
Iām top in my class at a small high school in Halifax county. Very rural. 34 ACT; 1510 SAT. I only applied to UNC Wilmington (already in w/ almost max merit already), NC State and UNC.

I actually wish I just did 3 like you, but I canāt really take the risk of having bad merit. August to November was the four worst months of my life trying to get everything filled out, but Iām glad I got everything early action. It was so much work, but it does seem to be paying off! No rejections yet, but that probably changes today lol

Does UNC-CH give good out of state merit? I was not aware that they did?
