We got this paragraph in our letter: âAs a result of the immense academic competition for admission to the University, we are not yet able to give you a final decision on your application. We would like to give you the opportunity to submit additional academic information for consideration during our final review. Your application is deferred until final review and you will receive a final admission decision on March 30.â
Our school already sent in the mid-year grades as of Dec. 31 and new grades wonât be available until the end of MayâŠany thoughts on what they are looking for?

11 people from my high school applied to State. So far 7 accepted. Weâre in northeast corner of the state bordering I-95 near Roanoke Rapids lake. None of us paid for a taught prep course. only used Princeton Review books.

Rejected, no WolfPAW, withdraw link was always there. IDC, I got Illinois anyways
DD accepted Engineering, OOS, 3.8 UW, 8 APs, many EC in music. Very excited but the OOS tuition is high.
Can someone please share whether there will be any merit granted and if so, when?

In OOS. Did anyone get a letter that mentioned honors/merit awards, even if to say that decision is coming?
You need to apply for scholarships. They donât give merit without application. There is a scholarship portal. NC State is not big on giving money in general. (So, not like U of South Carolina who gives blanket âin state tuitionâ to oos students that are strong.)
