D24 waitlisted. She has options but would prefer to stay in state for financial reasons. Does anyone know the likelihood of getting off the waitlist for fall '24, or should we treat it as a rejection?

NC state gives out very, very little merit from what I understand. There are insitutional scolarships you can apply for though. They sent me emails about that shortly after my EA acceptance. Congrats!
No merit given to EA even (yet, if ever). Very, very little merit is given from NC State. There is a scholarship page where people can apply for scholarships.
Mine was admitted EA and into honors college (only 500 out of 10,000 applicants accepted into it) and she hasn’t gotten any merit.
