I couldn’t make it because of a conflict :frowning:

If you don’t mind me asking, did they cover anything you can’t easily find on the website?

Has anyone made it off the waitlist yet?

Nothing yet I’m presuming nothing until after May 1st or May 15th?

Any movement in the waitlist, I see other colleges in other threads have started to pull from their waitlists?!

Did those schools have May 1st or 15th enrollment deadlines though?

Very true I did check and they are May 15th!! Would just love for this whole process to be over!!!

Out of curiosity - would one be able to access mypack portal if he/she was waitlisted? This is for a good friend, my own son was accepted. A friend was waitlisted but is able to get to the mypack forgot password step, but doesn’t want to move forward - scared. She applied originally as architecture, switched to exploratory and then was waitlisted. I would think if she gets this far in the mypack portal process - she may hear good news soon but I am not sure if waitlisted kids have access to mypack portal also.

If you can access the my wolfpack, you’re in

I hope that is true for her sake!

Just to close out on the NCState Waitlist for S24.
He received notification from NCState on June 1st he was moved from waitlist to declined for fall (no space available).

Mid-June he received notification from UNC that he was moved from waitlist to ‘declined for fall’ (no space available) but with “Guaranteed Admissions” as a Sophomore Transfer (General Pool / Arts & Sciences) as long as he checks off the rather minimal requirements they’ve already provided. It’s a legitimate offer as a close friend had first daughter in at UNC, second daughter waitlisted / declined at UNC but received this same offer and started at NCState (Poole Management) last fall, and has just accepted her offer to start at UNC this fall.

We will see how he feels throughout the school year, but there appears to be no downside to proceeding with the offer from UNC as it’s non-binding on the students side of things.

Good Luck to those still waiting.

Yes, we know a kid who had this offer too. Valedictorian (along with 50 others) at a competitive HS and he was waitlisted at UNC. Ouch.
