NC State sends out their decisions so late! March 30th right? Has anyone heard if it could possibly be sooner?
Wondering the same. My son is waiting on his deferred decision. Wondering when these were released in prior years

Did a bit of digging and found this from past years (all on Fridays I think). So this year (2025) we could get the results earliest on 3/21 and latest on 3/28 is my guess

Ugh. It’s literally the last school we’re waiting on and her top choice. A denial for the last school you’re waiting on would be so hard. I’m hoping it doesn’t happen. But anything could happen.

Best of luck! Was your daughter also deferred (like my son) during Early Action?
My son was deferred and it might be his first choice. He understands that as an oos student chances of admittance are slim but it checks all his boxes.
Yes, she was deferred from Early Action. We are also OOS. I can’t believe we have to wait another month.
She has friends who’ve accepted at schools and are already deep into the roommate matching process. But alas. It’s a lesson in patience.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone was knowledgable on the University Honors Program? I’m an OOS student and I received an Honors invitation, but after looking online, it seems like a lot of students are saying it isn’t a positive experience because of the semester cost and extra requirements.
I am a little nervous because my major is super time intensive, so I don’t want all of the requirements (and gpa requirement) to stress me out-- but I definitely am interested in a lot of the opportunities they’ve been listing online.
I’m pretty far away from NCSU, so I won’t be able to visit until April, so I was looking for any advice or things anyone knows about the program before I head down!
Definitely my top choice university, I’m very excited!
Just noticed that NC State will be hosting the men’s Div I men’s basketball/March Madness tournament on the same weekend at the admitted students event (March 22). 
I wonder how that will impact the on-campus experience for potential Wolfpack members!
They’re the host school but the venue isn’t on campus. Hotel rooms might be harder to get and more expensive.
I live in Raleigh. I understand the arena is off campus, and thus the basketball games will also be off campus.
I thought I was clear that my comment was about how potential students could be impacted when they are on campus that weekend.
Oh, I understand. For my son, interested in sports management, it could only be a positive experience.
Since you know how close Lenovo is to the NCSU Campus and Duke and UNC… I would assume there will be students, family and friends from other schools walking around at UNC, Duke and NCSU throughout the weekend. Which likely means more traffic, less parking, more lines and crowds in all the ‘tourist spots’. I don’t know how much School Spirit would increase on NCSU campus for March Madness as they won’t make the tourney unless they somehow WIN the ACC tourney again.
I don’t think it will affect anything. The admitted student days aren’t related to athletics, and the games won’t be on campus, so I think it will just be a typical admitted student day. However, if you’re trying to eat dinner/lunch, bars and restaurants will be busier for popular games.

Deferred from early action here and impatiently awaiting. Still a few weeks away from decisions…I know ugh. I remember seeing in the chat before early action was released about the withdrawal button being removed. I do not remember if it ever returned for us or not, but it’s not there now.

Yeah same. It was there before Feb 15 (deadline to sign up to be considered for rd and materials). But, at some point between then and 4 or so days ago it went away. Idk why or when. Could be they do this as each one is reviewed and decided and like past years bring it back last minute. I’ve seen all kinds of timeframes from past years forums. Don’t know why it keeps being different. Personally, I wish they wouldn’t do this kinda stuff. It’s clear for years and years kids and fams have been doing astrology on the portals looking for changes and meaning. They should just leave it alone. Everyone’s brains are doing flips. It’s so important to many. Anyway, I don’t know what it means, but I know we, including my child, are worried. The link’s existence or absence just adds anxiety.

We are just ready to find out. At this point why can they just not tell people if they aren’t getting in so you can have closure and move on lol. The wait is killing us
