Which high school would you recommend between Plano, Allen and Frisco? Everyone my sister talked to says Plano West is the best. What’s your opinion?
When you say “best” are you talking about most rigorous and most competitive? Or are you talking about the best school for someone who is gunning for the top X percent? Plano West had >30 NMSF this year!! I know people who have moved FROM Plano West to other less competitive schools so their kids can finish more at the top.
It depends whether you’re hoping to attend college at a Texas public university (pick a less competitive one than these three) or an OOS private.
She picked Plano West and really loves it. Academics are strong and no shortage of advance courses or extracurricular activities. Its a huge school so making friends was easy, not as cliquey as smaller schools.
