Yes, I believe that is an “Achievement Award” commencing sophomore year in recognition of leadership, academic and co-curricular accomplishments.

D accepted into Honors Program w/a full ride!

^ full ride including room and board? or full tuition?

Full tuition. R&B is our responsibility.

Sent my deposit in last week
Does anyone know when we’ll be getting more info on orientation, move-in day, etc. ?

BTW, I got accepted early action as an Industrial Engineering major! I was kind of bummed because I would have loved to get into the honors program and I thought I had the stats to (2170 SAT, 3.8 GPA, Loads of Extracurriculars/Leadership) but I was accepted on a $20,000/year scholarship so I’m happy :)

I was accepted as a journalism major (3.7 UW 2040 SAT) but only got $2,000 in aid. I didn’t qualify for the FAFSA so I saw this coming but still it changes things. I’ll be attending the welcome day next month though, so excited to see Northeastern for the first time!

Accepted with Full Tuition National Merit Scholarship.

3.7 UW, 4.1 W. 2370 SAT. 800 and 780 SAT II Subject Tests. Decent leadership/ECs. No other hooks. The cost, co-op, and proximity to central Boston are definitely not to be ignored.

Congrats, everybody! Any speech pathology majors out there?

Accepted into the Nursing program!
2180 SAT, 3.7/3.8 GPA, NY. I got 14k in merit scholarship and 5500 in loans. Which I’m so grateful for but I still don’t know if I’ll be able to afford it. It’s not exactly logical for me to attend NEU since I’ll be pursuing a Masters after undergrad, considering the price, but it’s my top choice. Another local school gave me a full ride (minus room & board) so it’s gonna be a tough decision. :(

@dknwhy: I am in the same exact situation as you (even the scholarship and loans offered to me are exactly the same and I am also in NY!). Similarly, I’m grateful for it but I am not sure if paying 40k (including R&B) is worth it. I’m glad to see someone else in this dilemma though, now I don’t feel like I have the toughest decision :)

Welp, I’m too poor to attend NU. I’ve been avoiding this forum to not get emotional…

Does anyone have any ideas where I can squeeze out any money? Apart from loans, there is a limit on that.

3.2 GPA/2300+ gpa/780+ SAT 2’s, great essay, decent recs, and awesome extra curriculars and accepted to the nu.in program! would’ve loved to attend in the fall but I definitely am considering this school

waitlisted to College of Engineering, not dealing with that…turned it down

I attend our monthly college seminars (all range of topics) covering financial aid and the presenter was an admissions officer at Cal Tech. Point of story was; out of curiosity he hired 2 work study students and their only job was to apply for any scholarships they could find, they both earned between 25-30k. Granted Sr. year is a so booked and time so thin but the money is out there.

Accepted to honors program with full tuition
3.6/4.1 gpa 2340 sat

Does anyone know when fin aid information comes out? I was accepted EA with a $20,000 scholarship, but I’m going to need more to consider this school.

Unless you are an NMF, I believe that financial aid awards have all been made.

I haven’t gotten anything on loans, work study, or anything really. Is it all online?

I was accepted…

Anyone else doing NU.in in london?
