Any other applicants who were deferred from EA here waiting on RD decision? I know not all deferred will hear good news but I do know it happens and some even with good merit. Fingers crossed

Good luck. After EA/ED1/2, how many offers do they normally issue in the RD round?
I have no idea. I’m sure it’s not many but I have heard stories of people who were deferred in EA being admitted in RD and with merit so I’m holding out hope. My D has already been admitted to 7/7 schools that she has heard from all with some merit. So, even if it’s a no fro Northeastern, at least she has some other fantastic options.

should I update my SRAR with semester grades, I applied RD, even if my counselor sent my official transcript and is it too late?
When do we expect RD to come out?
Do they release in waves?
In the past decisions were released in geographic waves on decision day starting at 5 PM EST. All decisions were released the same day. But for EA this year all decisions came out in one batch at 7 PM EST. So, no one knows how RD decisions will be released this year.
Excluding ED, the acceptance rate was about 5%.
If deferred from EA to RD do you think the odds of acceptance are just the same as a regular RD applicant?
When do we think the RD decisions will start?
Last year was 25th on a sunday. So it is a Sunday then?

I thought decisions came out on Wednesdays in the recent past?
Northeastern just posted on Instagram that “something exciting” is about to happen. Could be something else though!

I saw that too but it was on their school page, not admissions. Probably something else…

Maybe the date I saw was not 2023 then, I am not sure. Would love to know
Thinking about it, it’s probably something else. Northeastern were about a week behind the previous year with ED decisions this year, so the same might apply for RD given the number of applications. Next week seems a better guess than this one.
Is RD tonight or next Wednesday?
