when are EA results coming out ? any idea.

Last year was kind of a disaster. I think they accidentally released some NU.in results on Saturday (the 28th) so then they had to hustle to get the results released quickly. At that point, they said they would come in waves. My daughter was accepted to NU.in, so she received her decision that Saturday, but if I recall, everything else came out on Monday (the 30th)

Just amazing interest in NU!
98,000 applicants this year for 2600 spaces in Boston for Fall. Does not include NUIN or global scholars programs. Oakland and London admits are also separate.

“The incoming class will include about 2,600 students in Boston, Dattagupta says, as well as 475 at Northeastern’s undergraduate campus Oakland, California, and another 300 at the university in London.”

eh, its all ease and convenience of application, as has probably already been discussed. I fell victim to it as well, I got sent a fee waiver out of the blue and thought why not. Submitted entire application for free in five minutes. If I get in I get in, if not I wont lose sleep.

Right! I think almost every kid in my daughter’s school submitted to NU because of the no additional essay! It’s easy money for the school!

No change in my portal, I don’t see a “global scholars major change” button. I only applied for main campus.

When I saw this article, the first thing I scanned for is the decision date release - nothing mentioned about when they will actually communicate decisions. All I see is by 2/15 in the portal.

amateur portal astrologist here and future CS major, when i inspect element for “#part_8957922f-9774-4ff2-a799-6efef0feacf3” i see that the element that will hold the decision will be appended when this jquery script is run by NEU. i find it interesting that it adds a widget to visit campus
 is this indicative of a positive result or am i going crazy :skull:

agree, i assume the script would run when they push out the results on the server side. probably not uploaded yet! maybe tmrw?!

S24 showed me his portal today. I’m surprised he wanted to check.
He has the “You have an admission decision” and “view your admission decision” scripts.
Also has a Global Program Checklist script, a Payment Widget script, Enrollment Checklist Script.
Hopefully it means that decisions are coming soon.
Global Program acceptance would not work for S24 but a decision will help him move on to other options if that is indeed the case.

I don’t have the global program checklist script. I have indicated I only wanted to be considered for main campus in my application.
