Northeastern Early Action / Early Decision for Fall 2024 Admission

I don’t have the global program script either but several people on A2C had a button for it! So it might be a sign of acceptance to that program

What happens when he clicks on the “you have an admission decision”

where are all seeing the script? there is nothing to click for me

My daughter has the Global Program checklist script, but she said she doesn’t think she applied for this program. who knows.

What is A2C?

Northeastern considers all applicants for all its programs, no matter what they said in the preference. S24 also did not put Global Program in his top 3 preferences. The application made you select top 3 preferences. You could not just select Boston, and leave the other two choices blank. Knowing that he could be put into any of the programs, we had already talked about what he would do if selected into any of their non-Boston programs.

Thanks so much for the explanation. Makes sense

Random non-portal question: if they offer you a non-Boston program and you decline, does that count against their yield?

No - I think this was discussed in one of the threads - it does not count against their yield.

Edit to add: I think the non-Boston programs also don’t count towards their acceptance rates.

“global scholars” is different than NUin, correct? I wonder if NUin admits would have the “global program” script, but not the “global scholars” button

Correct. The published acceptance rate (6.8% last cycle) is for the Boston campus only.

is there any published acceptance rate for london campus?

based on some of this astrology, are we still on track for the predicted decision release date of today?

No. In addition to students who do freshman year in London before transferring to Boston, the London campus has its own application process for students who intend on completing their degrees there: UCAS and an online application on the website.

My son has the same things as yours. I also heard people talking about “Major Change” button showing up in portal but we don’t have that button. However, “Change My Application” button was aligned to left now. I remembered it used to be in the middle.

Not the answer, just FYI - " We have offered admission to the London Scholars program to approximately 145 students. " to ED1 applicants this year

I doubt it. Most schools update their portals with these types of “style” changes up to a week before notifications. Wednesday or Fridays also tend to be decision days…

Interesting. it sure has shifted every so slightly to the left if that matters.
