Does Northeastern accept letters of continued interest (LOCI)? Will it be read?
Yes and yes. Definitely send one.
same. I cant find it on Facebook. please send link if possible
My D was deferred from the EA round last night. NEU is her #1 choice but she did not apply ED due to hoping for some merit as we will not qualify for need based aid. Does anyone know the likelihood of acceptance from RD after deferral?
My daughter was at NU London for her first year, last year. She was undeclared at the time though and just entered DāAmore McKim this academic year.
does anyone know how many students are N.U.in ?
My daughter was at the London campus for her first year. We did not tour it before making our choice. If you follow the nulondon_global Instagram, you will get a good feel for the location and campus life there. And feel free to ask me any questions you might have!
Hi All, first post hereā¦My kid got accepted to London Scholars CS, He is accepted to Purdue CS also. Which one to consider?
iām not sure thereās any documented number but this report in 2020 stated that 1000 students from Nu.in came to Boston campus for Spring semester. i would think there are more NU.in students since then but not sure by how much
We are so excited that our daughter was admitted to the business school. I am assuming she did not get merit or will we hear later? Any info on the business school is appreciated too. Thank you.
My son is in the same boat
I have a son at Purdue. He loves it. I have at least one of my kids going to NEU next year.
Yes it says CSS profile need based aid package will come by the end of February but will still be tentative due to the delay in FAFSA.
Try this
Thank you ! How did she like it ? Any negative factors to think about? What major did she study? Was it a smooth transition to London and Back to Boston?
wow thatās a huge number, thank you
Son Accepted to Global Scholars. International, US top private/competitive boarding school (tougher these days from private school vs 30 years ago where most of my friends going to Ivy from boarding schools), 3.57 GPA, top 30% in his class, great activity/leaderships, good essays. He is also accepted at SMU, Minnesota, Rutgers, Indiana, Purdue, UIUC and Rollins College (112k scholarship). He is likely committed to Northeastern unless he is accepted to BC, USC, UC Berkeley and UCLA.
Did she like it? Would you recommend it to others?
For NU.in, she was able to change it before we put down the first deposit. Iām not sure if there was anything she āacceptedā before that, but we definitely hadnāt paid at that point.
Merit and FA are usually listed with the admissions offer. Did you run the NPC before applying? Are you expecting need based aid? If so, call FA. If no merit is mentioned, you likely didnāt get any.
Update: Sounds like need based aid Is delayed due to fafsa but merit usually comes with your admissions notice as the admissions dept awards merit.
