I know rankings aren’t everything but usually schools have something or the other they stand out for. I wish you the best of luck. I know that the Arts and Sciences school students usually have a 3.2.</p>

Thank you for reading my incredibly long post. I hope my GPA isn’t too low! Everyone else on here has super high GPAs. I had a 3.42 at the beginning of the year but fall semester didn’t go so well with 3 C’s and 1 A and it dropped almost .3. Hoping for the best outcome though! </p>

<p>@gregoryPanic I submitted my application on the March 31st but it was “Officially Complete” on April 15th. I know I am being a little impatient but I really want to go to NEU and just want to know! I have already received two acceptance letters and one rejection letter. When I called NEU a few weeks ago they told me around May 1st…</p>
<p>Does anyone know why some get accepted really fast like in two weeks and others take 4-6 weeks or even longer?</p>
<p>Yeah I was pretty much a mess up until i got my letter. I was logging in every 2-4 hours waiting for the portal to be unavailable.</p>
<p>From what I can tell though, they always post decisions in the morning, and you get the email around noon-ish (but you can log in and see it before the email arrives). Decisions will almost never be released on weekends.</p>
<p>So just log in in the morning every morning, and then write it off for the rest of the day. You’ll probably get your answer pretty soon, wouldn’t be surprised if you got it tomorrow.</p>
<p>@gregorypanic- thanks for the advise! When you login instead of saying all of the information NEU has received, it will say something else?</p>
<p>after you pass the “i accept” page, it’ll be completely different. It’s not even remotely similar</p>
<p>Just called them again. The lady I spoke to was really nice and noticed that my application had been complete for a while. She told me she would send my application to a admission counselor or something like that to bump up the process!? She said I would find out soon. Fingers crossed! </p>

<p>For those waiting, I’m also waiting on a few other schools. I guess there is no pattern when you will hear from one place or the other. I know we cannot wait anymore, so I hope we all find out soo from wherever we applied to. Good luck!</p>

<p>Guys, this might be a stupid question, but I’m from another country, so I’m not that familiar with universities here.</p>
<p>I was able to extend my deadline at Northeastern by speaking with someone on the phone.
Should I have any proof that I was able to extend my deposit deadline? Or just talking to someone on the phone is enough?
I’m too afraid to make the deposit days later and find out the lady on the phone did not make the changes or something, and I don’t have proof she said she would do…</p>
