@GregoryPanic thank you!!

@transferccgal I’m in the music industry program! I’m so ecstatic because there’s very schools that have it, let alone having one of the best programs.

@Bus2012DVC

I was truthfully looking at Bentley the most. Still waiting on the damn financial aid package. I had to send it extra additional information to them. So I should hear from them sometime next week. I like the Geographic location of it, the size is good as well. I felt like it would be a good fit for me.

Edit:

Just checked the BU website again. I got accepted. 4/5 schools got accepted into just waiting on Northeastern Now

Congrats @marissathemaine I’m happy for you :slight_smile: hopefully both of us Tampanian’s will be in Boston soon enough fingers crossed

@Bus2012DVC congrats on getting in everywhere!! You got 20k from NEU? That’s amazing!! Did you just fill out submit financial aid requirements?

@transferccgal: Thank you :smiley: !!! I hope you get to come to Boston too!!! Hopefully you will find out any day now! Best of luck and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!! :]

Kevin,
Bentleys financial aid office was the worst thing I’ve dealt with during this entire process. The assistant director twice sent me incorrect instructions. It took alot of pandering and frustrated emails to get them to render an aid decision. I was really ****ed. Good luck on your aid package it’s an awesome school. Hopefully you get a better package than I.

Transferccgirl
I got alot because I am 24 and thus an independent by federal standards. I also got a decent amount for achievemenr

Well hopefully I dont end up f***ed like you did. I like the fact that its like 10 minutes from Boston. It would make an easy commute from Boston to NYC to where I live.

Easy commute when I go home on holidays that is.

anyone else still waiting to hear back?

I am still waiting to hear back. Anyone else??

Good luck to all still waiting! Hope you get an answer soon! :]

Anyone accepted/ living on campus:
Does anyone know when we will find out our housing assignments?

And when do we meet with an advisor or someone to discuss what classes we are going to take/plan of classes to graduate? I am guessing during orientation?

For freshmen, housing assignments are released mid-June, and the classes are sorted out during orientation. I don’t know how it differs for transfers, but hopefully that’s at least a start.

Hey fellow transfers!
I am so excited to be going to Boston and Northeastern!! It will be great! I was wondering if anyone else is moving off campus? I am looking at studios/apartments and/or looking to get a place with other Northeastern students or transfers! I would love to know what a lot of you will be doing. GO HUSKIES!

Congrats again to the people accepted and best of luck to those still waiting!

anyone know how/where transfers are housed?

Transfer students are mostly in the YMCA dorm, but it depends on availability of dorms in other buildings.

If you’re looking to get an off-campus apartment, you’ll have to move fast. The market in Boston is tough, and for September leases are already mostly through.
