thank you guys for your support! @heyigotnoclue im just really sad now since NU is the school I had the most chance in and I got rejected. Now the other decisions are from impossible schools. Not even looking forward to them.
for those who have heard back, did you get an email notification first?
I have a feeling I won’t hear back anytime soon since my high school f-ed up and sent someone else’s transcript instead of mine. My portal kept saying my transcript was missing and I didn’t find out about this mistake until a week ago. They told me they dont read apps until they’re complete…would this put me at a disadvantage since decisions are already rolling in?
what I’ve learned from all of these different threads is that it’s not even worth guessing what kinds of people are accepted and when. what’s worth guessing is the date of the next wave. I think it’ll be next Wednesday.
@Panda_juice im sorry
if it makes you feel any better, I’m from a cc and I have a pretty average GPA… im sure u will be fine - BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE
based on old threads, we should receive a wave next week. people seem to have gotten decisions at 5:15 ET which is weird
@whostolemycookie it won’t put you at a disavantage, but they might read your app later. but none of us are admission counselors so we don’t know for sure
for people that have been accepted, when/how did you find out which of your credits transferred?
@etransfer2019 how many days after you were accepted did you get your credit transfer info?
I got the transfer information about one week later by email. I also got a package from them about a week later too. They only tell you what credits you are getting for courses you already have a grade in–in other words, not the classes you are currently taking. They seem to be relatively easy to deal with in terms of taking all my credits, but I did not have any unusual classes where they would not know what they were all about.
I also did not have any pass/fail–I do not know how they deal with that.
does anyone know what it means to be waiting still? like we’re the people from the first couple of waves the easier decisions, and now it’s only people on the edge? after applying ed last year, and getting rejected i’m very anxious for my decision.
@seahawksjoe I have the same question!
@seahawksjoe do you mean waiting list?
@northwestern30 I think he meant people who are stilling waiting for any response.
yup, the people who are waiting for any response
oh, well there have only been 2 waves and there is still a month left. i am sure those of us waiting are not necessarily all on the edge because they probably haven’t completely read through all apps
heyo if you found the facebook page could you post it below
@raider13wildcat Pretty sure I transferred to northwestern this past year from your current school, feel free to message me with any questions!!!
@1999nk can you share with us you stats and some tips that you think helped you get in?
@1999nk also how was the transfer process after being accepted, like for getting you accumulated and assimilated into the student body. And like course selection and advisors and stuff
