I received my decision letter on Wed night and got my transfer credit evaluation this afternoon.
I was accepted into the School of Communications and I applied from Boston University.
@jn6789 did you submit any syllabi for transfer credit evaluation?
@whostolemycookie in my credit eval they said they would ask for syllabi after i put in my deposit

does anyone know how many people applied this year for transfer admission? Based on past threads, some people say the number was on their decision letter
@northwestern30 On common data set for the 2017-2018 academic year, it says that there were a total of 1872 transfer applicants, of which 282 were admitted. That’s consistent with the 15% acceptance rate. Keep in mind that the data is for the students that applied for the Fall 2016 term.

More decisions this week?
@northwestern30 On my acceptance letter, I did not get any indication about the number of transfers applications this year other than there were “hundreds of transfer applications”. For what it is worth, on Friday I called the area in admissions that handles transfers with a question and was told that I should email questions because they are swamped reading other transfer applications. That would imply that there are still many more acceptance to go out.
any engineering decision out now?
@whereto2022 Patterns from previous years indicate yes, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m guessing Wednesday afternoon
I would assume at 5:21 central time based on when ppl received their decisions in the past 2 waves

If they do send out a wave on Wednesday, will that be the last wave or is there more…?
@wkdalswjd it might be the last formal wave, but as indicated by previous years, after the final wave, northwestern just decides to release small groups of decisions with no pattern all the way until May 31st. I am not sure if it will be the last wave but after a couple waves, decisions could be coming any day or any time.

Guys, just saying, if you’re asking questions regarding releasing decisions I recommend looking through the thread first. Several questions have already been answered several times

Yes, I’m also waiting for Columbia, Yale, Penn, and Swarthmore. But if I need to commit Northwestern in 3 weeks, I probably will only have the chance hearing back from Columbia.
By the way, I am an international student here, so this is a big disadvantage for me.
