@northwestern30 Do they mention it as optional on the website? I think it was required in previous years, but I can’t even find anything about it being an option on the website (I don’t see any mention of it).
@Ashtash I called NU asking if they required a midyear report and I was told that it is optional. Hope that helps!
Last year the first round of transfer decisions was released the last full week in April. Some people didn’t hear back until the very end of May. They tended to release decisions on Wednesdays for transfers last year based on past threads
The first real round was released April 11th, but those were mostly rejections
I had a 4.0 last semester and currently have a 4.0, but when I got my midterm report filled out I had an A- in one of my classes but As in the rest. Do you guys think I should send it in?

I submitted my app on the 15th as well and got an email saying my application was completed the evening of March 25th
Northwestern is very serious about not wanting extra materials. They want your application straight forward, I learned that from early rounds and talking to them. If they don’t want the midterm report, it’s because they don’t want it. If the say the why northwestern is suggested, you do it. Choose quality over quantity, don’t just think about bulking to give them way you want them to want.

They have lot of papers to go through. They will let you know if anything missing and allow you to update.
