<p>I agree RamenNation. I do like UCI and the school, and understand how they have alot of applicants, but this wave thing for 2 months is a bit ridiculous. Wished it copied the other UCs and have at least most of the decisions up on a certain day.</p>

<p>under 3.4 is killer tbh Freshmen average admit is like 4.0 and mean applied is 3.6 for last year</p>
<p>Chances are you wont get in with a 3.4 unless if your african or native american or you are disabled.</p>

<p>I don’t know if I believe this fully, because similar majors have been getting in at the same time and there has been no reported rejections. But straight from admissions. Or maybe people picking up the phones really do not know whats happening… ?</p>

<p>i’ve taken many AP classes over the years in hs and i have a DECENT amount of EC’s. nothing like 200 but hey it’s decent.</p>
<p>in my case i’ve transferred about every year in hs to a different hs. this of course affected my grades and my leadership/ECs. my question is how will this affect my chances? i explained my reasons for transferring every year and why i wasn’t able to stay in one school the whole way. plus i am a middle class asian immigrant, will this also affect my chances?</p>
