@HM0527, I also am hoping that we hear from you.
@TXDad23 I also got into the gateway programā¦very excited but I will need to look into it more before making any decisions
Congrats to all that were accepted! I was denied ?. Catholic White male from Chicago suburbs 3.75 UW and 35 ACT (one sitting). Ton of AP and good subject scores (math 800, Physics 770). Thought my essays were good too. No hooks/no legacy . But things happen for a reason so Iām ok with this. Iāll still root for the team in the cotton bowl! good luck everyone.
@katrina1 I have had some private messages with @HM0527 and she will be posting soon. She has been busy with family. I was worried about her, but happy for the news she will be sharing soon!
Hello everyone!!! Sorry we were with family last night. @katrina1 @WineLover @Tea4Two @Hpcsa thank all of you for your support!!! D was offered a spot in the Gateway program and we are THRILLED!!! Godās plan. So happy for her!!! This thread is a blessing and so are all of you
@HM0527 Congratulations to your D! Thank you for letting us come on this journey with you. I think I learned more about ND on this forum than anywhere else! Go Irish and thank you!
@bachbend thank you So much!!!
@bachbend congratulations to you!!! Go IRISH!!
@TXDad23 congrats! Our D was offered a spot to Gateway as well. We are thrilled. She will most likely accepted. She met two kids that are a part of this program when she shadowed at ND and they loved it!
Is there a facebook page for accepted students?
Hi All! New here and just want to say our Daughter was also offered a spot with the gateway program. We were all caught off guard as we knew nothing about it. I actually thought it was a rejection letter when I read the first sentence. Prayers are answered - just not what you are expecting! Reviewing info on website and signing up for the info session. Daughter happy and interested! The posts are reassuring and helpful! Thank you!
rejected lol jokes this was one of my top and honestly my guidance counselor even listed it as a target for me
straight As, sat 1430 (weakness but still in their range), catholic female from super competitive nyc public school
this was my best application too like my essays were SOOOOOOO good, for my ātake a riskā essay i used an excerpt from my journal during the hardest time in my life when i turned to god. made everyone cry. okay Iām done now weāll see what happens, gtown comes out soon and bc which are my top so. i think nd just wasnāt a good fit for me, and Iām not gonna try to fit a square peg into a round hole if its not meant to be. but CONGRATS to everyone who it is meant to be, Iām so happy u got ur happy moment
@lastof10 congrats to your D.
Congratulations to the accepted ND REA students and their parents, as well as to those deferred to RD - you are still in the race.
For those who have been offered Holy Cross/Notre Dame Gateway program, which is excellent, please find a link to an Observer article you may find useful:

Last but not least, to the students and their parents whose REA applications have unfortunately been declined, it is still early in the application cycle and experience suggests that most RD applications are being submitted after early decisions have come out - make best use of additional attractive RD application opportunities, in order to compare resulting RD admission offers with your respective state flagships. If you would like to PM me, please feel free to do so.
Excited to say son#2 will be joining his brother at ND next year! Best of luck to everyone on this thread. Itās been a crazy, stressful couple of months!
@cubswin2016 Iām sorry you were not accepted, but with an attitude like yours, you are going to go far in life. Best wishes in the future!
@HM0527 Congratulations! I am so relieved and happy to read your news!
@angelnicole I am sorry! Best wishes with your other applications!
Hey everyone, I donāt know if you are aware, but the Fordham decisions were posted last nightā¦earlier than expected!
Joining the forum to congratulate everyone who got in and wishing luck to those who got deferred!
