the pyramid question answer was 2. i think its b/c the surface area of everything was 5. and the surface area of the square was 1. so the other 4 triangles each have to have a surface area of 1. 1/2(1)h=1. so h is 2.

WAIT. Why was the snail pi one not 26pi??? I was sure it was. or did I calculate the area?

Yup, the surface area one was 2.

The “snail pi” one was the one with the spiral? In that case, it was 10pi

idk why but it keeps coming out to 23 for me

You might be calculating area, which would give you a larger number.

nvr mind i got

The surface area one couldn’t have been 2. 2 was the height of the pyramid, the question asked for the length of CD. I think you had to do the Pythagorean Theorem but I omitted that one.

SO Which math was the experimental one? Can we get a consensus? Was it the grid in one? or the one with the snail pi one?

Grid Ins are never experimental, are they?

They asked for the height not CD

No, I’m absolutely sure they asked for CD.

CD WAS the height actually. And it is 2 because: [imgur: the simple image sharer](Imgur: The magic of the Internet)

EDIT: No CD wasn’t my bad. I put 2 though. I meant that CD was the height of the triangle.

And the grid one is never the experimental one, I think. I’m pretty sure it was the one with the prime number p* question.

Darn, I successfully solved for height, but made a careless oversight.

@AspiringAchiever Accidentally rhyming! :D

Was the surface area one an experimental?

How are we supposed to know -______________-

Math was never my strong point. I think I omitted two, and I know for sure I got -2 so far.

Man, 2 wrong on math so far. That’s usually like a 760 right? :(

Oh by the way, what’d you guys write your essays about?

I’ll be happy with 740+ at this point. Reading went pretty well, I think I’m at -1 or -2.

Was the “simple” question candid or basic? Basic seemed like a luring answer, whereas candid means impartial, straightforward.
