November 2010 SAT - Math

i thought option III gave you the same answer as I. soo i picked II only

what was the question that was like 4ax^2-bx+c and then like f(1)+f(-1)?

i thought i got .5 for both options I and III

It was: f(x)=4ax^2-bx+4c and a+c=15, then what is f(1)+f(-1)?

I got 120, though I’m not entirely sure. What I did here was basically just replace c with 15-a then plug in the 1 and -1. In the end, it was (-bx+60)+(bx+60), so I got 120. Can anyone confirm this answer?

ugh for the question about the pools being filled with like t hours rate and t/2 hours rate…Could someone please explain that?

yea thats what i got i think

I got 120 and then I changed… What a luck…

for da quesiton about 4- digit number with squares and **** could 9410 suffice ?

There was a question about a set of 6 sqaures laid out each with different symbols and one without. Does it matter if you fold the square inwardly or outwardly? (are the symbols on the front and back of the squares?)

Same.

FYI:
n = 2

@futuresuccess: Yes, 9410 would work because 0 is an integer and the problem didn’t specify that it had to a positive integer.

I believe it was there was something like “only 4 terms are less than 1000” in the problem. I remember putting the 2nd biggest number. (109?)

Shirafune, it said outwardly. The answer was A.

does anyone have a condensed list?

webass we have had a lot of similar answers. we could either be happy or REALLY ****ed bout our scores. haha lets hope for the best.

anyone else want to comment bout the abs(d-7.5) question…was it II/II or II only?

@webass, I got A as well.

@EAGLES FOR LIFE. About the d question it was abs(d-4.7) <= .08

Therefore only II worked since I was 4.6 and III was 4.8
II was 4.72 or something

Onlly II was correct. So you are correct.

I think I got an 800, anyone else?

I messed up on the one with the circle in-between the two squares -_- I put its diameter instead of its radius

Nope. I got one wrong, and I’m questioning one or two others. But I think I got in the 700s, which is what I was going for, since I got a 690 (four wrong) a year ago, without a calculator (I rushed to get a calculator this morning, so I did have one, thankfully).
