<p>I’ve been keeping up with this feed for a while and thought I should post. I’m a senior from Kentucky and got my semi-finalist notification. I only listed one choice for Summer Korea! Congrats to everybody else! </p>
<p>What if I live in the Midwest too and I haven’t gotten a notification yet? Should I worry?

<p>BTW: My application was sent 3/4 days after the due date, so it looks like my notification will be sent really late. Luckily @YinYang21 also lives in N.C., so I’ll know when east coast notifications start. :-SS </p>

Don’t worry. Judging by the Facebook group they are still receiving notifications. I think it also matters when you sent in your essay. If you sent it in earlier, it will probably come later. </p>

No, I don’t think you should worry. Based on the area of your state that you live in, there will be different offices by region. Maybe the region you live in just hasn’t sent out notifications yet. If your really concerned, I would call NSLI-Y and have them deliver the news.</p>
<p>NC checking in, I got my semi notification at around 4:30 today! </p>

<p>Hey i haven’t said anything thus far, but as someone who also hasn’t received any news i just wanted to clarify that NSLIY posted the following on their twitter “All applicants will receive notification of their status during the month of December. Thanks for your patience.” So there is definitely a chance you might not receive your notification today, and that is fine.</p>
