I know someone asked before but does anyone know what time it’ll be sent out?
Just looking at past threads, they seem to come out between 3pm- 4pm central time.
Out of curiosity, does the medical form submission date on semi finislist portal keep changing for other people? At first, it said Feburary 8th. But a few days after that, it changed to feburary 22nd and now says March 1?
Just looked at DS portal and the medical form date also now says March 1…

Mine says March 1st too now. I hope this won’t push back the decisions or that would suck.
Changed to March 1st as well. Good grief, I hope this doesn’t mean that finalist announcements will be pushed back.
Oh I just saw mine is changed now too. That’s weird.
Presumably they are located in DC or Virginia? They probably close the office at 5, so unlikely notifications get sent out today…

Well guys some other people have said that March 1st has been a date for notifications, so maybe today will be the day!
Good luck guys! So excited for you all. I’m stuck waiting until the end of March, but it’s still nerve-racking to see the other programs release their notifications.
Wasn’t the deadline for for the health form to be turned in extended until March 1st? Not sure how that will effect summer notifications, but it seems to me that until all health forms have been cleared they would not be able to notify.
Yeah, the deadline was extended for the health form multiple times. I’m not sure what that is about. Hopefully it doesn’t postpone the notifications too much. @oak2maple
Was the deadline officially extended? Were applicants notified of extension? Is there a date change posted anywhere? We never received notice that the date changed, so I’m curious to know where others have gotten this information. Was it directly from NSLI-Y?
Under the document where the medical form is submitted in the NSLI-Y account, the deadline has been changed to March 1st. I think it was changed earlier, too, from February 8th (?) to February 22nd. As far as I know, no one from NSLI-Y has stated anything official about the change or whether or not it will affect the date of finalist notifications (although they are typically released on the last working day in February, which has already passed, so maybe the dates were affected).
No - it was just updated on the portal. My guess is that people who did not submit on time were probably the ones notified of the extensions … those of us who followed the instructions had no need to know about the extended deadline for the medical form, but can see it online.
