<p>Thoughts about the two anyone? Also, how long does it take to get to the airport from campus? How do most students get there? How long does it take to get into the city, and how do students get there?</p>

<p>Personal experience: my son tries to find a friend to share a taxi with–which takes 35 to 40 minutes or even more depending on traffic, but now that he’s become more money conscious (yay), he takes the Pace 250 for less than $2. It takes a little over an hour. Several people mention that in their threads. </p>

<p>Some residence halls will also have places on their websites expressly for people needing to carpool/whatever to O’Hare and other major points of transportation. That way people can easily locate others who would be willing to split gas money or a taxi fare.</p>
<p>O’Hare is the closest airport to Evanston. It’s a 30-minute drive by car/taxi.</p>
<p>Midway is on the South Side and is a 45-60 minute drive by car/taxi.</p>
<p>Most students can enter the city of Chicago via train (CTA), shuttle (intercampus bus), and car (although I don’t recommend this option because parking fees are high).</p>
<p>How about the biochem/premed programs at NU vs UVA? How do they compare?</p>
<p>We have a pretty high admit rate at ~80% but we also have a pretty high MCAT average (~34). So it’s unclear whether it’s really the school or the students themseleves. Some may say the MCAT average shows the premed courses seem to prepare the students well for the test.</p>
