<p>Yes, the tights will do! Pardon me while I take off my nude hose and I put on these scratchy, blingy tights. Then I’ll be ready to roll to the nightclub in my business suit! :D</p>
<p>I saw lots of Kate on the news the last few days when she was in NYC and she didn’t have nude hose on in any of the shots that I saw. She was wearing very dark hose. </p>
<p>I can understand dark hose (or black tights) in winter. But I’ve seen black tight with sleeveless dresses in the summer… to me, that looks odd. </p>
<p>Yeah, definitely looks odd in the summer, but I LOVE black opaque tights and sheer black hose and was happy to see Kate wearing the dark hose with such aplomb.</p>
<p>Love the black tights/black booties (or boots, pumps, flats!) combo. Kate looked fabulous, as usual. </p>
For anyone still interested in nude hosiery, here is an update on my (experimental) purchase from the fabulous site called UK Tights. I bought a whole bunch of hosiery from them because I was frustrated that certain brands were not easily available from US sellers. They shipped everything via Royal Mail, and the package was at my local PO within a week of placing the order. Quite a few of the tights I got were 20-30% cheaper than they would cost in the US (Wolford and Max Mara).
I already wore the micronet (“tulle”) Max Mara hose and really liked it - smooth, silky, no runs, gorgeous.
Today, I’m wearing the $1.50 UK-made hose which is supposed to be “ladder-resistant.” I deliberately made a few snags in it, and so far, no runs! It has some sort of micronet weave that apparently prevents the runs. Also, it has no tummy control nonsense, which I like. I think I could have got alway with a smaller size…
Guess where my next hosiery order will come from?.. UK Tights! 
Just wanted to report that I found nude fishnet hosiery in Rome today in a little shop. Was amazed to see that they came in pantyhose, thigh-hi & knee-hi. Even the thigh-hi’s were sized, rather than one-size-fits-all.
I still wear nude hose in fall and spring. (tights in winter).
Im waiting for slips to come back…tired of seeing girls with a jersey A-line skirt, bunching up in her thong undies!
Some celebrity needs to declare that slips are sexy…
Warning: do not buy Falke nude hosiery. I spent an ungodly amount on a pair because it was so silky and luxurious (plus, the brand is known for its quality!), but the hose developed a large hole in the thigh area after just a couple of hours. WTH?? I have never taken a pair of hose back to the store, but it irritated me so much I went to Nordstrom and complained. Got my money back.
