<p>I think nwu is fine. Northwestern’s website used to be <a href=“http://www.nwu.edu%5B/url%5D”>www.nwu.edu</a>.</p>
<p>nobody says NWU anymore tho, especially on campus. PLUS, they canceled all the websites with “nwu.edu” in it…so doesn’t that say something? ;)</p>
<p>You are right that no one says nwu. It’s harder to say it than Northwestern after all. That’s why people “say” NU. But in writing, some people use NWU to try to make it more obvious that’s it’s Northwestern, not schools like Norwich U, Northwood U, Northeastern U…etc. I’ve seen sports/news channel still use NWU when they display the scores of football games that NU plays.</p>

<p>If you’re talking about why I changed from ED to RD–
I realized that my application isn’t as strong as I would like it to be, and during November I’ll be attending a lot of different leadership programs, plus I felt my grades weren’t competitive enough so I’m going to crack down and pull them up , so that way I stand a better chance at admission.</p>

<p>Oops…sorry about the whole NU/NWU thing… When my dad worked there, I think it was referred to as “NWU” so I’ve always kept that abbreviation. But that was some years ago so I didn’t realize that it had changed.</p>
