Harder today. I needed a hint to get started. Easy after that.

I do NOT understand how to play this game, and I am usually very good at word search types of games.

I did…and I thought I had it right. But apparently…I don’t. It’s fine.
Needed a hint as well.

That’s how I feel about some of the other NYT’s games - this one works for me! Except today…I just could not get the vibe of the topic!

I think it’s interesting and sign of how our brains can puzzle some things and not others very well.

I’m slowly getting the hang of this one.
For some reason, I thought you could only use three hints. Had no idea that you could go beyond that.
I don’t know whether this will help anyone. Like I said above, I immediately bank (what I thought) were my three hints because, one, I might need them, and two, they help me determine some words that AREN’T in the puzzle. That helps narrow down possibilities for the theme word. I have discovered that you can find more than three words for hints; I just didn’t know you could use more than three hints.
