<p>One question: I know EDII CW candidates get notified first, and on the website it says that RD applicants can expect to travel by April 1st if selected. So when are we notified of RD CW invitations? I’ve read 2-3 weeks, but is that true in your experiences?</p>

I might be setting myself up for disappointment, because I’m sure you all are feeling the same way and are more qualified Anyway, sorry. I needed to tell that to someone who would understand. The next month and a half will go soo slowly, but at the same time, we’ll get our decisions before we know it.</p>

<p>Hello! I’m new here, and I’m sending my application to NYUAD tomorrow. Really nervous. Could someone tell me what this whole “counselor nomination” thing is about? The application didn’t say anything about a nomination form…</p>

<p>@jenansaleh the nomination form is something that your counselor fills out which makes the admissions team pay more attention to your application. Unfortunately the deadline has already passed, it was the 1st of Dec, but no worries okay? It’s not that big of a deal.</p>

<p>There was a time when NYUAD was my dream school. Like, for most of sophomore year. Or all of it. I think it was more the “wow” factor of going to school in ~Abu Dhabi~ than everything else because it really doesn’t have what I want, which is specifically international relations (not exactly just poly sci) and languages that are not Arabic or Chinese. </p>
<p>And then this year I started thinking about Shanghai but it’s basically the same thing.</p>
<p>So I ended up not applying
