<p>@horrace95 Sorry to say this, but the deadline probably passed for you. They don’t go by California time, they go by EST. You can try to send it, since they sometimes accept applications a few hours past the deadline. But your chances aren’t in your favor. Good luck!</p>
<p>Thanks, I finished my essays in like 20 minutes and managed to get it out by 12:01 am california time on the 2nd.</p>

<p>@HangingOnStars No dont worry. I applied already for the ED1 and they took like a week to send me my albert id. Also, after two weeks time I got my confirmation of the nomination that my counsellor filled out. So they do take time especially when it is around deadlines.</p>

<p>i got my nomination confirmation about a week after i sent it in, but I haven’t got my albert id even though i submitted my ED2 app like 3 weeks ago. I’m not worried though, now that the deadline is over, it’s just a waiting game =D</p>

<p>What is Albert ID? I did get some ID and password to it on NYU website but it said that I will be getting results both on the site and through my e-mail at the same time. I wonder if that’s the same thing. I think that we will be getting our results by 15th of January. I hope that it’s not negative coz I have my economics pre board exam scheduled on the same day :)</p>

<p>Thanks! I sent in my application on 3rd of December. I could not send it for ED1 because I had to receive mid report of my 12th grade marks. I’ve also been waiting to be nominated by my school counselor for NYUAD. Did you also send you application for ED2 deadline? Where are you from by the way? 
I am so excited about all of this! I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that it will turn all well for all of us! :D</p>

It’s strange . I did get my ID. If you received confirmation from NYU that they received your common application, then you should mail the university and ask them why you haven’t received it yet. Do not worry because these things happen very often

Don’t wait for NYU. As my teachers told me a while ago, “If you want to achieve great heights in this world, you’ve got to run behind people and keep on reminding them that something has to be done”. Send it in now. It’s always better to be on the safe side
