<p>The writing assignment was required for students who were nominated by their counselors. I donât think you need to worry about that now. The deadline for nomination was 1st December.</p>

<p>Oh okay thank you! Well I just found out my counselor hasnât sent in my standardized test scores yet because I am sending in my Alberta diploma marks. Itâs ridiculous how my school has 3 counselors for 2200 students who apply to Ivey Leagues and universities all over Canada. Itâs so hard for them to keep up with everything. Plus I am an ED II, so I really hope they havenât seen my application yet so I can just add it in. Totally wonât get in at this point.</p>

<p>Is the February Candidate weekend (16 - 19 Feb) also for the ED II candidates? Wonât the ED II candidates get their decision at 15 Feb? So if anyone applied ED II and dint get an invite for the Feb CW, should he consider that he is rejected?</p>
<p>I always thought that the Feb CW was between 6 - 9 Fab⊠It turned out to be 16 - 19 Feb⊠Have lost hope now⊠Does anyone know until when will all the invites for the Feb CW be sent?</p>
<p>@talhasami CW for EDII applicants takes place in January and February. The January invites have already been sent out like a week or so ago and the February invites will be sent out by late this week and during all next week, most likely Thursday February 2nd, since that is when it will be approx. two weeks before the February CW. This is what the lady at the admissions office for NYU AD told me. </p>
<p>The Candidate Weekend for February is the 16th to the 19th. You can even check the NYU AD website. Sometimes RD applicants do get invited to the Jan and Feb CW, but itâs mainly ED II applicants. Pretty much if you donât get invited to the Feb CW then you are pretty much rejected. Donât lose hope! Did that answer your questions/concerns?</p>
<p>@yardog: Yes it does. Actually I got worries because I was mistakenly assuming that ED II decisions will come out by 15 February.</p>

<p>Sure!!! I think the thread is continuously growing! And Yardog!, pls can u elucidate ur previous post about Feb 2nd. Was that meant to be the date that the feb CW will be sent or the time it will end???</p>
<p>February 2nd should be the last day for all invites to be sent out. Sometimes students may receive it the next day (ie: Friday Feb 3rd). You should be expecting something end of this week and throughout next week for an invitation.</p>
