@zel01015 im an international too who didnt apply for FA and i got the change. Do you have a table in your financial statement summary on Albert?

@hunggngguyen I have a chart that says Aid Year, Institution and Aid Year Description. Do you mean this chart? :(

wow lol late to the game haha but hi guys! applied stern ed1

Are you sure? I can’t seem to remember what it was before…

@"Siberian Siren" I applied to GLS… What do you know about it?

@xim0204 Applying for GLS! What’s your choice for your first year destination?

I didn’t apply for the financial aid but there is a chart from year 2014 to 2016… I am really confused…

So do we get to pick where we go for the first year of GLS or does NYU pick for us?

@YilingWang I want to be in NYC my first year to get adjusted! You?

@zel01015 yeah and below it shoudl be 2016 - Newyork Univeristy - No access …smth
dont be too worried if u dont have the change, i dont think it means anything for international applicants…

@Rahshe thats strange…idk maybe you should email them and ask

did anyone else get a change from CAS to LSP on their status? my status still stays the same…im so anxious now…

If previous years’ FA change theory holds true, FA does not apply to international applicants. Some international applicants who got the change got in. However, the people who were denied with FA change were also international. I don’t think an FA change for international indicates anything really.

has anyone else’s FA status stayed the same for 2 weeks now?

It really seems like the FA Change is rolling as they make decisions. Clearly they don’t wait until the 15th to “make the decisions”. They are being made in real time each day. My guess would be that those with a School Change got the FA Change at the same time. NYU really doesn’t need to address the FA Change since it is out of their hands (not their software) and, based on this thread alone, there is really no feeling of certainty by those with the change so, from their perspective, the cat remains in the bag.

what does this mean ?

2016 - New York University - No self-service access for this aid year.
& 2015 -New York University -Award access not available

Class of 87. Good luck to all of you.

Does anyone know what happens if you apply ED and are accepted and then you don’t get a substantial (or acceptable) financial aid package? Can you decline the ED offer? Anyone heard of how hard that is or the repercussions?

@brazos21 If NYU does not give you a substantial or acceptable financial aid package, you do not have to accept the offer. There won’t be any repercussions and I don’t think it is that hard.

I’m jumping into this conversation a little late but on Albert my program has changed from Liberal Studies to Global Liberal Studies. Is this a bad sign?
