<p>Hello everyone…im an ED1 applicant to NYU with NYUAD as my first choice, NYUNY as my second and NYUSH as my third…i just received an email from NYUSH regarding an interview and i am so excited and nervous…however, i haven’t heard from NYU AD or NYU NY yet regarding any interview…should i be worried? </p>

<p>@xim0204 Basically, people in past threads have noticed a trend where getting a message about your FA in Albert meant that you were accepted. </p>
<p>If you sign into Albert, click Financial Aid summary or Accept/Decline financial aid (here: <a href=“Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 1...”>http://cl.ly/YTaE</a>). The message when everyone first applies should be “Award access not available.” (like so: <a href=“Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 1...”>http://cl.ly/YT5Y</a>).</p>
<p>Eventually (probably after the 15th, when all the CSS/profiles are submitted), that message might change to “2016- Award access not available.”.</p>
<p>The theory is that this changed message means you are accepted, because it means that you were given an offer for merit or need-based award for the school year but just can’t view it yet because decisions haven’t been announced.</p>

<p>There is also some current confusion on whether or not the year should be 2016 for this year. Some people on this thread have already gotten FA changes saying “2014- Award access not available.” or “2015- Award access not available.”.</p>
<p>We aren’t sure though whether that means anything, because it seems it might have something to do with them attending a summer camp at NYU in past years.</p>
<p>After the 15th, the FA changes should start. Still, we aren’t really sure about how reliable the theory is.</p>
<p>In any case, we’re all just going to have to wait for the 12th to come to confirm everything.</p>

<p>Don’t worry if yours hasn’t changed. Many people in previous years didn’t get a change even until decision day so there is always hope. Also, I have no idea if they were supposed to change as I did a summer program.</p>
<p>I applied to NYU AD and ticked SH as my secondary campus of interest 
yesterday I also recieved a skype interview invite from Shanghai! Nothing from AD yet. Who else is being interviewed? I’m so nervous! I’m an international student by the way.</p>
<p>@collegehelp08 Don’t worry, I got a SH interview too and nothing yet from AD (first choice). 3 of my friends go to AD and apparently you only get the candidate weekend invite approx. 2 weeks before the actual event. This year CW is Dec. 4-7, so we have 1-1.5 weeks before we should get worried;) </p>
<p>Okay everyone! Did some digging and found that the people who had the FA change that got rejected did summer programs. Some people who did summer programs were accepted. My theory is that for the summer programs, Albert already put the correct FA format in so everything else fell into that same format. If you did a NYU Summer program, you are likely to see the FA change, but unfortunately there is no telling since it could be an actual change, or could be just the summer program variable. We all must wait until the 12th I’m afraid.</p>
<p>@NYUFan101 It also looks like it isn’t an indication if you’re an international applicant. Other than that, I can’t seem to find anyone who did get the change but didn’t get accepted.</p>
<p>@rfree18 Agreed. All the international applicants may receive the change, but be wary as it doesn’t mean anything.</p>
