******NYU Class of 2020 RD Discussion******

Oh, its fine I got it.

Thanks man, congratulations. Sorry if I was a bit rude. Never meant to be! @pizzaandpeonies

Did u guys see this? https://twitter.com/MeetNYU/status/714472218944647173

AHHH 3 MORE DAYS!!!

@co0kiez did it not come with a time or are we supposed to check around 5 EST?

@Wscott23 they didn’t say :confused:

@co0kiez it might be released in waves depending on where you live, east coast would probably be first, but I was just checking

@Wscott23 according to last year’s RD thread, they sent it out in waves starting with rejections in the morning and then acceptances later in the day…I guess we’ll see on March 31st!

It costs more than $73,000 per year to attend NYU, Stern - https://www.nyu.edu/content/dam/nyu/financialAid/documents/tuitionstern.pdf

Will they offer any merit based scholarship?

Guys, what’s the estimated cost for CAS? Approximately as much as Stern?

just rejected at vassar… this is so devastating guys, my last hope is put on NYU… :frowning:

@sreya124 @Artiechoke I thought all of the schools had the same tuition.

Tisch is the most expensive out of all of them. Its about 79,000.

@co0kiez i looked through the RD 2019 page and some people got decisions at 12-1 AM. Would they do that again cause i probably would stay up all night if they did

@Wscott23 If they send out the emails in the traditional waves, rejections will be sent out from midnight to around 9am and acceptances will be sent out around 3pm, both times in EST.

@seeniebeenie Well then im not checking until after 3EST cause i dont want to ruin the rest of my day lol.

@Wscott23 lol I have no idea what they will be doing this year…we’ll just have wait until thursday

just fyi albert says 5 still: “Admissions decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be released via email on March 31 after 5pm.” (from the Undergraduate Applicants -> Admission Decision Release)

I wanted to add that just like 10 minutes ago I only had “Summer 2016” on my housing portal and it was just updated so that I now have “Academic Year 2016-2017” (but I’m classified as a non-renewable undergraduate). So hang in there if you portal still says “Summer 2016;” it looks like they’re still getting things updated.

@historyprof do you only have acad16-17 thought?? I have that AND summer and spring. Spring one is already closed and have four options under summer 2016

@beaglee105 I have the same thing as you.
