I’m a little confused about the time frame. Are the emails coming out between 12 AM-5PM on March 31 or early into April 1?

“Decisions will be released in waves over the course of the day to minimize disruption to most (not all) school day time zones, meaning decisions will be released into the late evening hours and possibly into the early morning hours of April 1. We will make decisions available online through our NYU Albert student information system on Monday, April 4, or you can call us by phone on Monday and we will release your decision then.”

I turned off email notifications and I’m pretty sure I’m going to delete the gmail app on my phone because I CANNOT have bad news right before my hamlet test :)))
It’s gonna be hard day. This is my final admission decision, so it’s been a long journey. I’m feeling mixed emotions about being done applying for college (for now at least).

This is the final admission decision for me. I am so very nervous - as we all are.
I just want to wish every single one of you good luck. You have all been so kind, gracious, and helpful throughout this entire waiting process. Whether we are rejected or accepted, we must keep in mind that everything happens for a reason.
This has been one surreal process for me. I cannot believe I have applied to college because it seems like it was yesterday when I walked into my kindergarten class for the first time.
Well, that’s enough from me as I sit here studying for my Calculus test. Once again, best of luck, and I will pray that we all get the results we are looking for - acceptances! See you all tomorrow!
As a parent who has been reading and posting with you guys for a little while I can honestly say you are a bright, enthusiastic group and any university will be lucky to have you (my own son included)…so even if it’s not NYU (which I sincerely hope it is!) ^very true! We’ve worked our asses off these past 4 years and it’s up to NYU to realize that we gave it our all. I wish you all the best of luck and hope to be your future classmate! Don’t worry about not getting in because if it’s meant to happen it will, and if it doesn’t then it’s the schools loss. Good luck tomorrow guys, this is it! You all rock and deserve it! Remember it’s not about the school, it’s about what you make of it.
Has anyone’s housing info changed to “freshman” by any chance? For ED 2 (and 1 if this applied to you guys as well), about when did some of your housing statuses change to freshman?
