Hey guys, first time user here 
Just a little worried since I actually submitted the wrong year CSS Profile (the 2015-2016 one, not the 2016-2017 one), but then I completed the correct one and emailed NYU about it.
They sent me this: “At this time we have not been notified if students who filed the wrong year CSS Profile will be considered for institutional grants and scholarship.”
Do you think I have a shot?

@TheyCallMeDamage wow that’s really strange and that message sounds really cryptic. I don’t know, and don’t want to tell you wrong, but hey! at least you’ll find out one way or another today!
I mean, another college told me that the mistake I made was actually pretty common. The info I provided was essentially the same in both applications though, so I hope it didn’t make too big a difference.
Hi, can anyone chance me for Steinhardt? SAT 1890, GPA weighted 4.1, lots of activities and applying for Psychology major. SATii chemistry 770, Math2 750.
@jf2580 Your SAT might be a little bit on the low-side, but your SAT II’s are good. If your AP’s and essays are good, I am sure you have a great shot! NYU is holistic, so cross your fingers.
I didn’t know NYU was on the same level as ivies though. People are freaking out in this forum so much that I basically think that I’ll get rejected from NYU too now.
Me too, but someone told me that Steinhardt wont emphasize on SAT too much, and I have another friend who applied to ED 2 with 1650 SAT, and eventually got in. @peanut10

i just dont wanna sleep cuz the possibility of waking up to a rejection letter tomorrow morning daunts me …

@ZaGongShow same, but really whenever I get it I’ll be so scared I won’t be able to open it whether it’s in the morning or not! I’m so scared!
this is my last school, which is what’s making me nervous. but i’ve gotten into some fabulous schools that i’d love to go to regardless. good luck everyone; fingers crossed!
@bekisstressed what I’m scared about is before evening opening it, seeing the few word preview in gmail… like if its “The admissions committee has completed its deliberations …” i believe thats rejection and acceptance is "On behalf of the committee… " i think …
