I can’t wait to meet y’all! It truly has been one HELL OF A RIDE! For those who got rejected, trust me, I know exactly how you feel. It took me a while to assimilate my ED1 rejection and I was frustrated, thinking it was something personal, something against my persona. But trust me, it really isn’t. I was rejected from Cornell and I ended up somewhere better, in a university where I will receive the business education I was initially seeking, one that Cornell didn’t offer. And just like that, in a couple of months, you will be heading to some place better, some place where YOU belong. Patience my friends. It will all be good, I promise. I love you all.

I got a $16,000 scholarship so It’s better than what I expected! The rest in work study and loans

ALSO now that i’ve calmed down, anyone in the future: please do not hesitate to apply to a school because you think you are lower than your average, or the stats of people you see on CC discourage you. my stats are not perfect or near to it: i have gotten my share of bad grades. make your application UNIQUELY YOU, and colleges will respond to it. i’m not a genius or even close, but i’m passionate about what i’m going into and i think that’s what got me in - not test scores or GPA.
